Edgely Fire Company Chief Carl Pierce’s display on Starlight Lane is no exception.

The display features between 8,000 to 10,000 lights and a fully decorated fire truck on his front lawn.

The truck is owned by Edgely Fire Company member Jeff Buranich, who bought the truck about a decade ago after it was retired from a Morrisville fire company. Pierce said the truck was formerly used by Edgely in the 1970s and also carried the casket of firefighter John Buranich after he lost his life while on duty in the 1970s.

The chief said the truck was new addition to his display this year and he hopes to have it back next year.
