Acting Chief of Police Lt. John Godzieba released the following statement on the investigation:
The Bristol Township Police Department is investigating a report of a video of sexual conduct between two juveniles being circulated among students via cellphone at Franklin D Roosevelt Middle School, 1000 block of Veterans Highway Bristol, PA. At this time, it is not believed that the video was shot on school property or in school buildings. A number of cellphones have been secured by police for investigation, which is ongoing. School District administrators have circulated a letter to parents advising them of the incident.

Bristol Township police and child welfare agencies have been alerted by the Bristol Township School District that a video showing minors engaging in alleged “inappropriate” and “illegal” activities is being circulated.
Superintendent Dr. Sam Lee sent a letter home to parents at Franklin D. Roosevelt Middle School Wednesday afternoon.

Lee said the video involves minors but does not involve activities that took place in the school.
Aside from stating the activities in the video are “inappropriate” and “illegal,” Lee told LevittownNow.com he could not disclose more on the content of the video.

One parent, who asked not be identified to shield their child from any attention, said the video was sent between students.
“While the temptation to forward such a video from one friend to another could be on your child’s mind, doing so is illegal when those involved are minors. It is essential that you make your child aware of this fact so that he or she does not run the risk of criminal charges,” Lee wrote in his letter.
The school district administration and guidance counselor are working with students who may have seen the video.
