From Pennsbury:
The showโs title song as well as several others, including Happy Holidays and Blue Skies , have become standards during the holiday season. White Christmas first became a hit during World War II, when soldiers and their loved ones awaited their reunions. The musical production has become an audience favorite since the movie by the same name was created in 1954, and the show, which premiered on Broadway in 2004, has been performed during the holiday season throughout the world for the last ten years.
“White Christmas” centers around giving to a military hero who is in need. The audience may bring a small gift like a gift card or children’s toy to the performances. Gift and cash donation will help Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide financial support, food assistance, housing, or new home assistance and other forms of help to the families of service members and Wounded Warriors.
Pennsbury Gold Card members are entitled to free gallery seating or may purchase tickets at a $7 discount. The same discount is also being offered to veterans and active-duty military personnel at the Sunday matinee performance. Veterans are asked to bring their military ID or wear their uniform when buying tickets.
