Weather Service Issues Flood Watch for Lower Bucks County

The National Weather Service in Mt. Holly, New Jersey issued a flood watch for the Lower Bucks County area as of 9:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Forecasters are predicting continuing rain fall through late Tuesday night. The watch is in effect till 1 a.m. Wednesday morning

The watch calls for about 2-3 inches of heavy rain falling in the, which could also create hazardous driving conditions for motorists as rush hour approaches Tuesday night.

As the rain stops, NWS advises, run off from the precipitation will continue to effect creeks,streams and rivers.
