A tractor-trailer careened off the Route 32 off-ramp on Route 1 in Falls Township Monday morning.

The driver of the truck was reported to be conscious but dazed when firefighters freed him from his truck shortly before 10 a.m.

The truck with a cargo trailer carrying fertilizer rode the guardrail before going off the highway and down a wooded embankment, Falls Fire Company Chief Mike McClellan said.

As of noon, crews were working to remove both the truck and the trailer from the embankment.

Crews from Falls Township, Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 1 and Morrisville fire companies responded along with Falls police and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.

A crash on the Route 32 off-ramp in Falls Township sent at least one vehicle off the roadway.

The crash happened just off Route 1 Monday morning shortly before 10 a.m.

No word as of 10:20 a.m. on how many vehicles were involved or if there were injuries. Video of the scene from PennDOT traffic cameras appears to show a large orange vehicle over the guardrail and into woods below.

Firefighters, medics and police responded to the scene and closed down the ramp.

There were early reports of a fuel leak.
