The Philadelphia Inquirer on Sunday reported Chinese investors are signing up to give $500,000 each to help fund the massive Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-95 connector project.
The multi-phase project will add a connection point between the two roadways in Bristol Township. For decades, drivers have had to take local roads to get between I-95 and the Turnpike, which both have exits located several miles apart in Bristol Township.

The current phase of the project is partly funded the government and financiers from overseas, mainly China.ย The foreign investors will get immigration visas in exchange for their funding, the newspaper reported on its website and print edition.
