You better wear your seat belt if you’re traveling through Middletown.

Police announced Wednesday that they will be ramping up traffic enforcement efforts through December 1. The announcement comes as part of a state-wide National Thanksgiving seat belt enforcement mobilization.

Police said they will conduct a traffic enforcement zone Saturday through Sunday on New Falls Road and Lincoln Highway. The stepped up enforcement will take place during the nighttime house, according to authorities.
“PennDOT data for 2013 shows that 425 individuals who were killed in crashes were not wearing their seat belt,” a press release from police says.
