Some people dream of a white Christmas, but this year it looks like we have a pretty good chance of getting a white Thanksgiving.

Forecasters are predicted up to several inches of snow in Lower Bucks County. The snow is predicted to start falling Wednesday evening and end Thursday morning.

The early snow total prediction map issued by the National Weather Service late Sunday afternoon showed Lower Bucks County getting between two and four inches of precipitation. Areas to the north would see more snowfall.

A briefing package put out by the weather service says the storm should start as rain on Wednesday and change overnight. The storm would be done by Thursday morning and likely have impacts on travel.

“The forecast amounts are subject to change as new forecast guidance becomes available over the coming days,” the briefing package says.
