University Hosting E-Waste Collection Event

Cairn University’s Enactus group is hosting a community e-waste collection event on Saturday.

The group will be working with TerraCycle Inc. on the collection event that will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 200 Manor Avenue in Langhorne.

“Residents who drop off e-waste will keep local landfills cleaner and raise money for a good cause at the same time,” an event listing reads.

Here are some of the items being collected:

Cell Phones, iPods, MP3 Players, Laptops, Notebooks, Netbooks, Tablets, iPad, eReaders, Digital Cameras and Camcorders, GPS units, and Graphing Calculators.

The students at Cairn University have been inspired to make a difference, but they cannot do it alone. They need help and volunteers from the community in order to successfully reduce e-waste in the Bucks County area,” said the event listing.
