Two power outages left hundreds in the dark in Bristol Township, Langhorne and Middletown Twp. on Tuesday.

Both power outages happened around 2:45 p.m., PECO spokesperson Debra Yemenijian said. She added that the two incidents are not connected.

PECO crews were working to restore electric service to 257 customers in Bristol Township and 150 in Middletown as of 4 p.m. The outage originally impacted more than 815 customers between the three towns, Yemenijian said.
LevittownNow.com readers said that the outage in Bristol Township caused traffic signals to go dark at the busy Five Points intersection.
PECO officials said they hope to have power restored in the coming hours.
