After allegedly arguing with employees at a local insurance agency, a 52-year-old localย woman led police on a chase throughout Falls Township.
On November 11 at 2:02 p.m. Falls Township police responded to a call at Comprehensive Insurance located at 660 Lincoln Hwy. Employees had noted that Jeannine Burkett, had been yelling and cursing at an employee and manager and had been asked to leave the business. After first refusing to leave, Burkett stopped talking on her cellphone and followed police orders by walking outside.

According to an affidavit written by police, Burkett was informed that she would be cited for disorderly conduct and that if she cursed at police she would be arrested. Burkett resorted to her car and sat in the driver seat, while police filled out the disorderly conduct citation.
According to court documents, due to prior contact, Falls officers knew Burkett’s vehicle had a suspended registration and expired insurance. After verifying, police notified Burkett that she was not allowed to drive her vehicle from the area and that if she chose to do so, she would be cited for multiple traffic citations.
Burkett than yelled “f**k you” at the officers out her car window and gave them the middle finger, before starting her vehicle and driving out of the parking lot, according to police.

Burkett then led police down Tyburn Road, Trenton Road and South Olds Boulevard, before she continued through a solid red light at the intersection of South Olds Boulevard and Queen Anne Drive before turning into a driveway.
When police exited their vehicle and opened Burkett’s car door, they instructed her to get out of the vehicle. When she refused, police were forced to grab onto her arms and physically remove her from the vehicle to take her into custody, according to court documents.
