UPDATED: 7 Trucks Destroyed in Arson

Monday morning’s fire at a truck lot in Bristol Township has been ruled an arson, according to an official.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the fire destroyed seven tractors that were not attached to trailers.

The fire was reported to 9-1-1 at 5:19 a.m.

The arson remains under investigation by authorities.

Several trucks burned early Monday morning in Bristol Township.

The tractor-trailers were reported to be ablaze around 5:15 a.m. An official told LevittownNow.com the fire happened toward the back of a fenced in lot in the 1500 block of Clyde Waite Drive. The lot backs up to a wooded area near the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Firefighters responded and worked to control the flames, which were finally brought under control around 6 a.m.

Several trucks were reported to have been damaged in the fire.
