The answer: It should be clear for trick-or-treating.

The National Weather Service’s Mount Holly office says the rain should hold off until after 10 p.m. Friday.
The National Weather Service is calling clouds and a high of 55 degrees during the day. For trick-or-treating, the forecast calls for clouds, a light wind from the northeast and temperatures bottoming out at around 46 degrees.
Overall, Halloween evening looks likes nice about right.
