A man was seriously injured in a head-on crash on Tyburn Road in Falls Township.
Police said the accident happened Thursday morning on Tyburn Road where goes over Philadelphia Avenue.

The elderly driver of the vehicle that slammed head on into a truck hauling a trailer was headed eastbound and the truck was driving westbound, police said. Lt. Todd Pletnick told LevittownNow.com officers were investigating to see if the injured driver suffered medical emergency that caused him to cross into the path of the truck.
The elderly man was rushed by medics to St. Mary Medical Center’s trauma unit in Middletown, police said.
The crash remained under investigation as of Thursday afternoon.
