Bristol Borough police arrested one man and filed additional charges against a second man in connection with a strong-arm robbery on October 2.
Jermaine Redfearn 36, of Bristol, was picked up by borough police a little after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, an official said.

According to court documents, Redfearn was with three other men behind a home on the 200 block of Buckley Street smoking pot when the victim asked the crew of men to leave around 6:30 p.m. The men agreed to do so and when the victim turned his back to them, they ‘”jumped him from behind,” court documents say. The man was reportedly pummeled as he lay on the ground.
The victim told police he saw Redfearn walk from Race Street and enter a home on the 600 block, according to court papers. There, the 36 year old joined in on the attack with the other suspects – one of whom is Mahkell Litchauer, 19, who is currently in Bucks County jail charged with a strong arm robbery that took place on October 12, according to online court documents. A warrant for Litchauer’s arrest has been issued in connection with the October 2 incident.
Borough police wrote in court documents that Litchauer robbed a T-Mobile cell phone from the victim during the attack. The phone was valued at $300.

According to court documents, the next day, the victim told police Redfearn who threatened to assault him again.
Police officials said there investigation into all of the robberies over the last month is ongoing.

No date has been set as of yet for Lithcauer’s arraignment in this case.
Redfearn was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct.
Bristol Borough District Court Judge Frank W. Pereanteau, Sr. set bail at 10 percent of $25,000 scheduling his preliminary hearing for November 5.
