Construction on Bristol Twp. Schools Moves On

Despite some delays, work on the new 1,300-student buildings at the sites of Ralph Waldo Emerson Elementary School on Mill Creek Road and James Buchanan Elementary School on Haines Road in Levittown continues.

Both of the buildings have their steel framework up and crews at the sites appeared busy this week.

On Thursday, Bristol Township Council approved final land development for a new 1,300-student school at the 22-arce Mary Devine Elementary School site in Croydon.

The buildings are part of Bristol Township School District’s effort to consolidate from nine aging elementary schools to three new, state of the art buildings. The plan is currently expected to cost over $120 million.
