UPDATED: Bensalem Teen Found Safe

Bensalem police said in a statement a tip lead to the discovery of Faith Taggart. The teen is safe and was located in Philadelphia, police said.

A 14-year-old Bensalem girl is being sought by police in that township.

Faith Taggart left her home in Bensalem on September 14 and has not been spotted in the area since, police said. Investigators are classifying the missing girl as a “juvenile runaway.”

Police said they suspect the teen might be with friends in Montgomery County or the Olney section of Philadelphia.

Taggart often used the name “Lynette” and has “Lynette” tattooed on her upper right chest, according to police.

Authorities describe the girl as about 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds.

Anyone with information on Taggert’s location is asked to call Detective Brian Oliverio at 215-633-3669.
