Bucks County Fire Marshal Mark Kramer said on Thursday that the fire has been ruled an arson. He cited the lack of electricity and heat sources in the locked up former bathrooms.

“The structure was totally consumed by the fire,” he said.
No witnesses or security camera footage showing the structure around the time of the Tuesday morning fire has been located.

A structure owned by Bucks County burned to the ground early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters and Bucks County Park Rangers were called to Silver Lake Nature Center around 2:25 a.m. for a well-involved structure fire. The blaze was off Route 13 in the portion of the park that sits in Bristol Borough, according to a county official.

The building, which used to house restrooms, was destroyed in the blaze. By mid-morning Wednesday, not much of the structure remained.
The fire remains under investigation by the Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office.
