From the outside, the large facade has come down and construction crews can be seen working on the sidewalk.

Middletown Director of Zoning Pat Duffy said the owner of the property has obtained permits for the work and is subdividing the building for two new tenants, Bob’s Discount Furniture and Floors and Decor. The original revision for the site called for three different tenants.

The owners of the property are expected to come to township officials to request zoning waivers for signage.

The Dump closed this summer. An employee of the store told LevittownNow.com the retailer’s lease for the site had ended.
