According to court documents, when officers arrived on scene the victim was walking down a driveway with Trout. Officers said she was “visibly drunk” and following behind on the 30 block of Lilac Lane.
The victim had what appeared to be bruising under her eye, police said. They attempted to detain the man to further investigate, however, Trout resisted at first, but officers were able to get handcuffs on him and place him in the police cruiser, according to court documents.
The woman was also intoxicated, according to police. She was also reportedlyย being uncooperative as police continued to investigate, although she did show the responding officer that the alleged bruising on ย her face was actually smeared makeup. Officers inquired about cuts to the victim’s leg but she refused to tell police how she received those cuts, court records show.

Police interviewed witnesses at the scene who said they didn’t see Trout hit the woman, but they feared it was a possibility, according to court documents.
When the victim was told by the responding officers they would be taking in Trout for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, the victim said Trout wasn’t going anywhere with them and proceeded to open the ย police cruiser’s door. Officers closed the cruisers door and detained the victim at that point, court records show.

Trout then began to bang his head so had hard on the vehicles window that the door to the vehicle was opened and it was observed he had slipped out of his handcuffs. The suspect was taken out of the vehicle, still resisting police efforts and attempted to grab the officers flashlight. Trout then had his cuffs reapplied, according to court documents.
Trout, however, was not exactly done in terms of his attack on the police vehicle.
According to the probable cause, as officers were further securing the victim, loud banging could be heard coming from the police cruiser Trout was in. Officers responded to the banging sound and observed the suspect kicking the door and damaging it ย to the point the vehicle was not “useable,” according to the probable cause. ย Trout, police wrote in court papers, had again slipped his cuffs off again.
