A young man was hurt Saturday evening when a tree branch fell on him.

A 19-year-old Levittown resident suffered non-life-threatening injuries Saturday around 7:10 p.m. when a limb from a dead tree fell onto of him in the wooded area by the Oaktree section in Bristol Township.

Police said the 19-year-old was with some friends at bicycle ramps in the wooded area when the branch fell. The teen was knocked to the ground and his friends helped move the limb off of him.
Officers from Bristol Township arrived to find the teen alert and conscious.
Medics were called and transported the man to the hospital for treatment.
