Cops: Man Accused of Burglarizing Neighbor’s House, Selling Stolen Goods


A man was charged Thursday with burglarizing his neighbor’s home.

David Frost, 33, of Falls Township, is accused of breaking into his neighbor’s Nectar Lane home in Levittown Wednesday afternoon.

The homeowner told responding officers he arrived home around 12:30 p.m. to find his dog outside and a locked window pried away from the frame, according to court papers.

Police said the homeowner found a first-floor bedroom was ransacked and a jewelry box on the second floor was rummaged through. About $500 cash, two handguns, assorted jewelry and one of the homeowner’s social security cards. The items were  reported to be taken from a safe and tool bag.

The homeowners told investigators their neighbor’s brother recently moved into his house and was having some “legal troubles.”

Using the LeadsOnline pawnshop transaction database, authorities tracked three rings sold at a pawn shop in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood, court papers say. The rings were reportedly stole by Frost.

Frost was taken into custody Thursday and arraigned at night by District Court Judge Jan Vislosky on charges including burglary, theft and receiving stolen property. He was sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
