UPDATE: Cops: Teens Stabbed During Drug Deal Gone Wrong
One teenager has been charged in Tuesday night’s double stabbing and a police official said it’s “likely there will be more people charged in the future.”

The teenager charged Wednesday morning is 16 years old and a resident of the North park section of Falls Township, according to officials. Lt. Nelson Whitney said the teen was charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault, simple assault and possession of an instrument of crime. The teen was taken to the Edison juvenile detention facility in Doylestown.

“I don’t have any information on a second arrest at this time,” Nelson said when asked about the second suspect police said they had in custody early Wednesday morning. “It is likely there will be more people charged in the future.”
The lieutenant said the investigation remained “very active” on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the area of Manor Elementary School after two 17-year-olds – one from Bristol Borough and another from Levittown – were stabbed following a dispute shortly before 7 p.m., police said. Initial information from police said the dispute happened following a basketball game in Elderberry Park. A crime scene was established on Neptune Lane and a search warrant was later served on an address on that block.

The injured teens were rushed to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown for non-life-threatening stab wounds. Whitney said the two were treated and were released from the hospital on Wednesday.
