Woodbourne Road Blocked by Disabled Train

A disabled train blocked traffic in Middletown Township Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, Woodbourne Road in the area of the Woodbourne Train Station was blocked by the train around 3 p.m. The delay on the road was expected to last about 30 minutes.

“Alternate routes are Rt. 213 to N. Flowers Mill Road to Langhorne-Yardley Road back to Woodbourne Road or Oxford Valley Road to Township Line Road to Big Oak Road to Woodbourne Road,” police said in a statement.

It is not clear as of press time what cause the train to become disabled. It is also unclear if it is a cargo train on a passenger train.
