Officials said the township plans to build a 50 foot by 45 foot sally port for police. The secure structure would be in the rear corner nearest the police station, which is connected to the Bath Road municipal building.

A brick building behind the police department’s offices is also expected to be taken down, according to plans.

The township also expects to remove a deteriorating salt shed and replace it with a newer, larger salt shed, officials said.

The township public works complex in Croydon is expected to get a 160 foot by 60 foot garage.  Officials said the new garage would be placed on a paved surface that already serves as a parking lot for equipment.

Some permits will be required for the work.

Township officials said they have streamlined the process to get the projects out to bid quickly.
