Wardogs Football to Remember Longtime Local Coach

A beloved Bristol Township community member will be remembered this weekend.

FootballThe Wardogs Football youth club will be hosting the first annual Coach T Memorial Bowl. The event is named after Thomas “Coach T” Hall, who passed away at 80 following a June car wreck on Green Lane.

The tournament will consist of four Wardogs Football teams facing off against local opponents at Harry S. Truman High School on Green Lane in Levittown.

The Wardogs organization said Hall was an “integral part of Lower Bucks football for five decades, most recently coaching with Armstrong Middle School and The Wardogs.”

The tournament kicks off at 9 a.m. and features games at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The Truman Tigers will take on the Bensalem Owls at the high school at 7 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Wardogs Football will be hosting a designer handbag bingo event at the Bristol Township Senior Center on Bath Road. The event begins at 6 p.m. For more information, email wardogsfootball@gmail.com. All money raised will go to the Wardogs Athletic Association.
