Vandalism reared its ugly head in Bristol Borough last week.

Two vehicles parked on Clymer Street, off of Buckley Street on the border of the north and west wards, had their license plates damaged, tires punctured and profanity scratched into them.

The three culprits, according to witnesses, live in the borough and consisted of two boys and one girl.

Borough police are investigating the property destruction and have solid evidence of the offenders in action, according to borough officials.

Charges have yet to be filed against the destructive youths, but police know who the culprits are, authorities said late last week.

It’s not the first ย incident of vandalism by teens, concerned citizens, who did not want to be named in fear of retaliation, told LevittowNow.

The front entrance of a residence on the 100 block of Buckley Street was sprayed with eggs among other things earlier this summer. Although its not known if this group of teens is connected to that incident of property damage.

Borough police have written up minors for disorderly conduct summary offenses and curfew charges dozens of times, according to information provided by the department.

” The worst part about this is, the parents who ride along with the child in question lie right with them” one borough parent said.

“They are out of control and I’m glad the cops are on this because someone needs to account for this kind of senseless teenage garbage” the concerned parent added.

In recent days with the additional help from other area police departments, the presence of patrols is noticeable.

Sgt. Joe Moors on last Thursday night said several teens were cited by police for breaking curfew.

According to police documents over the last week alone 10 citations for curfew violations were written along with 4 disorderly citations involving “minors.”

Additionally, a LevittownNow.com reporter has received threats that appear to be connected to the vandalism.

The owners of the vehicles vandalized said karma has a way of catching up. They added, “rest assured we’ll be pressing charges and holding the parents responsible in the form of financial damages for the lack of control they have over their children.”

On Monday afternoon, Jermaine Law, 19 0f Bristol Township, brandished a “BB gun” while challenging the owner of one of the vandalized vehicles to a fight, according to witnesses.
