Police said Thomas Collins, 54, of David Drive in Bristol Township was deceased when the couple pulled up to the emergency room of the hospital. Hospital staff took the man and tried to receive him. The couple reportedly left in the Honda.
An autopsy was performed Wednesday morning and confirmed initial indications that there were no visible signs of trauma, Lt. Terry Hughes said. He added toxicology tests have been sent away and are expected back in the coming weeks.
“At this time, we haven’t found anything criminal,” Hughes said. “We believe, at this time, the intentions were to get this guy medical attention.”

“We would like to talk to the two who dropped him off,” the lieutenant said. “We want to find out the last moments of where the subject (Collins) was.”
Police said they could not release where the missing Honda was found, but confirmed it was in Bristol Township.

“We’re looking to piece this investigative puzzle together,” Hughes said. “Talking to the two subjects would be easier on the family and everybody.”

A couple in the their 20s drove up to the emergency room at the hospital a few minutes before 9 p.m. with the 54-year-old David Drive resident slumped over in the passenger seat of his black Honda Accord, police said. Hospital staff took the man from the car and the couple allegedly took off.
Acting Chief of Police Lt. John Godzieba said it appears the man was dead when he was dropped off at the hospital. Staff in the emergency room performed CPR on the man, but it was not effective.

Police said they are not yet sure the man’s cause of death, but no obvious signs of trauma were present.
Godzieba said the two are “persons of interest” investigators are looking to speak to and not suspects in any crime.
The Honda has been entered in police databases as stolen, Godzieba said. The vehicle bears the tag JNV1762.
