The Bucks County Quilt Show at the Bucks County Visitor Center in Bensalem is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with more quilts on display than ever before. Presented by Visit Bucks County and The Quilt Academy of Bensalem, this annual exhibit features 130 quilts hanging from 25-foot-high beams and displayed throughout the Visitor Center’s Main Gallery.

The Quilt Academy of Bensalem, an organization which offers a variety of quilting classes, has donated nearly 100 pieces for this show. In addition, this is the first year Quilts For Kids, an organization that provides quilts for children in need, is participating in the show. The Langhorne-based not-for-profit organization makes more than 30,000 quilts a year for children with life-threatening illnesses and victims of abuse.
In order to raise funds and spread awareness, Quilts For Kids will be raffling off two quilts during this year’s Bucks County Quilt Show. The quilts feature a Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies-themed design. Both quilts have been signed by various members of these popular Philadelphia sports teams. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 per ticket or five tickets for $20. The raffle winner will be notified at the conclusion of the Quilt Show.
Stop by and browse the beautiful quilts and other pieces created by Bucks County locals and learn more about the inspiration behind each design, as well as the individuals who created them!
