Local members of the community who want to hold their own โmini-drivesโ can do so using tools located at the stuff the bus website, as given above. If โmini-drivesโ are conducted, the collected items must be delivered to one of the United Way locations by the end of the day on August 20.
In addition to school supplies, United Way is also searching for volunteers to help compile the supplies in back packs the days following the completion of the drive.

According to the CEO of United Way Bucks County, Jamie Haddon, last year United Way distributed โ742 back packs filled with supplies. That’s over $17,000 worth of school supplies, and we still didnโt have enough to meet all requests.โ
In a press release provided by United Way, Danielle Bush of the United Way Bucks County Community Impact team notes the importance of new school supplies, โThese are supplies that kids really need. Without access to new supplies, students start the year at a real disadvantage.โ
According to a press release provided by United Way Bucks County, the drive is being sponsored by Cummins Power Systems and Bank of America.
