
Falls Township Police are continuing to investigate a stabbing that occurred at the Pennsbury Woods apartment complex this evening on New Falls Road, the stabbing left one man in the hospital and another in custody.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday, a male visited the apartment complex on New Falls Road in an effort to pick his child up from a baby sitter, according to police.

At some point during the pick-up a verbal dispute transpired, and a male produced a knife and stabbed the other male in the upper back, police said.
According to Lt. Hank Ward, the suspect who stabbed the other male then fled on foot, being chased by the male who had been stabbed.
Police arrived quickly on the scene and set up a perimeter of a small wooded area behind the St. Joseph the Worker Parish where they believed theย suspect wasย hiding.

Officer Lundquist and his partner K-9 Trigger were able to track the suspect, and after the suspects refusal, sent the K-9 in, in which case the suspect surrendered.

The victim of the stabbing was taken to St. Mary’s Trauma Center where he is being treated for non life threatening stab wounds. The suspect is now in custody, but no charges have been filed as of press time.
