Adam Carnevale was arraigned around 10 a.m. on 37 new charges ranging from statutory sexual assault to child pornography. District Judge Jan Vislosky set bail for the Carnevale at 10 percent of $1.25 million in the latest case. According to court records, he is unable to post bail.

Police allege that Adam Carnevale was soliciting sex acts and nude photos from six underage girls throughout the Levittown area.

Carnevale, 27, of Lawrenceville, N.J., was arrested in May in the case. As police investigated further, they found five additional girls who were solicited by Carnevale and plan to withdraw the original charges on Wednesday. On Tuesday, police filed new charges that cover the original incident and the other girls who have come forward. The 27-year-old will be arraigned on new charges Wednesday.

Of the six teenage girls who talked with Carnevale, five performed sex acts on him and/or sent him naked images for money, alcohol and cigarettes, police said.
The investigation started in January after a woman came forward and said the 27-year-old asked her to find him a 14-year-old girl to have sex with. The woman said she had sexual encounters with Carnevale and received money for performing sex acts on him, court papers say.

Text messages from December show the woman was texting Carnevale and he made the request to perform sex acts on her cousin or a young girl, according to court records. The court papers also says that he wanted someone 14 to 16 years old and was willing to offer her more money as an incentive to find younger girls.
In January, the woman contacted Carnevale while working with police and said she had a 15-year-old for him, court papers say. Carnevale kept asking about the girl and wanted to see photographs, even topless ones, police said. Investigators set up a fake Facebook for the made up 15-year-old girl and Carnevale asked to meet with the girl, court papers say.
Falls and Lawrence, N.J. police apprehended Carnevale at his job in Hamilton, N.J. in May. At the time of his arrest, Carnevale had an iPhone 5 and iPad 2 with him.

A search by police showed the iPhone had 14 photographs and one video of a 13-year-old Bensalem girl performing sex acts on herself. The girl told investigators she met Carnevale on an app when he started randomly messaging her, according to court papers. The girl said she “chickened out” after Carnevale offered to pay her to meet up.
The devices were used to identify five other victims, according to court papers.

Police said Carnevale taped some of the sexual encounters with the girls.
The teenage victims were from Bensalem, Bristol Township, Falls and Middletown. Many even knew each other, police said. The encounters took place in a church parking lot in Falls, a neighborhood in Bristol Township and at Carnevale’s home in New Jersey, according to court papers.
One of the girls was 12-years-old and Carnevale “randomly” requested her on Facebook. Carnevale, according to court papers, had sexual conversations with the girl via text message and eventually asked if she would perform oral sex on him for money. She provided her address and later refused to meet Carnevale when he showed up, police said.

In many of the cases, Carnevale offered to set the girls up with older guys who would pay “more money” for sex, police said. He also asked some of the girls if they had young friends looking to make money.
