Here’s what not to do if you get arrested: stuff the holding cell toilet with clothing.

After similar holding cell vandalism incidents in Bristol Township over the past few months, Middletown Township police reportedly dealt with one Monday night.

David Jenner, 31, a former Langhorne resident who is currently homeless, was arrested on a drug charges in Penndel and was transported to the Middletown police station while waiting to be arraigned.
According to court paperwork, the 31-year-old used his clothing to clog the holding cell toilet and flood the cell. Police said they moved Jenner to another one of the four holding cells and he again tried to do the same thing but the water was shut off in the cell.

When the man discovered he could not flood the cell, he indicated he would go a different route to damage the cell, according to court documents.

At one point, Jenner positioned himself on a toilet to obstruct the view of a security camera, police said. They added he ignored their requests to stop.
Lt Ken Mellus told LevittownNow.com Jenner damaged an intercom system and possibly two cameras. The toilet appeared to be working fine as of Tuesday afternoon, according to Mellus.

Mellus said a security company had been called out to inspect the cells and repair any damage. As of press time, police said they were unsure of any damage cost.
The alleged antics at the police station lead to Jenner facing a charge of charge of institutional vandalism. He was arraigned early Tuesday and sent to Bucks County lockup on 10 percent of $50,000 bail for the vandalisim and 10 percent of $25,000.
