Cynthia Legette apparently has a problem with store merchandise sticking to her fingers and hands, as she was charged recently with retail theft by police for third time in less than 60 days.

According to police, Legette, 57, of Bristol, was arrested on June 13 by Bristol Borough Patrolman Ritchie Webb after Wal-Mart security staff called in the alleged theft. Webb wrote in court paper work that Legette was “familiar” to him. ย Legette was allegedly trying to leave the store with a cart of merchandise valued at a little of $130.

Two weeks later, according to online court records, Legette was arrested and spent several days in jail for retail theft and receiving stolen property as Tullytown officers arrested her on May 28. She was sent to Bucks County jail in lieu of ย 10 percent of 30,000. Two days later, the woman thief had her bail reduced to 10 percent of $10,000 and she was released after being behind bars for six days, court records show.
Legette was issued a mail summons to appear and answer to a third separate retail theft charge related to a Juneย incident in Bristol Borough, according to court records.
