The suspect brandished a black-handled paring knife and carried a beige-colored plastic shopping bag, police said. They added the suspect demanded the clerk fill the plastic bag with money.

Once the clerk put an undetermined amount of cash inside the bag, the man took the bag and fled the store on foot, according to police. He was last spotted running toward Nolan Avenue.

Police describe the white male suspect as being in his mid-30s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 and of thin build. They also said he wore a brown pattern camouflage wool baklava, white and blue colored work gloves, a black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and tan-colored footwear.
