Updated: ‘Severe’ T-Storms Are ‘Dangerous,’ Forecasters Say

The weather service is warning the public that the current storms hitting the area is highly “dangerous” ย due to high winds ย topping out at 60 mph ย and quarter sized hail.

In addition Bucks Ready Notify is warning residents of “frequent cloud to ground” lightning strikes ย which they advise the public to move indoors.

More rain, thunder and lighting are headed to the Lower Bucks area, the National Weather Service is predicting as they just issued aย severeย thunderstorm warning for the area.

Following Monday night’s sound and light show provided by mother nature, with booming thunder and skies lighting up with bolts of lighting, the same is expected for Tuesday.

The severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 9 p.m. alongside a standing flood watch issued Monday and in effect until ย 10 p.m

Monday’s line of storms brought flooding to the Lower Bucks area.

Forecasters are predicting high winds and gusts and warn for lightning strikes as the storms move through the area.
