Second Shooting Victim Dies in Hospital


The wheelchair-bound man shot early Tuesday morning inside 913 Winder Drive in Bristol Township passed away from his injuries Wednesday evening.

Joshua Johnson, 29, died as the result of a gunshot wound to the head. The 29-year-old, known as Gang by friends, was wheelchair bound following a shooting in Philadelphia several years ago, those who knew him told reporters earlier this week.

The news comes less than 24 hours after friends and family held a vigil outside the shooting scene.

A friend of Johnson’s told LevittownNow.com the 29-year-old was “barely hanging on” following the shooting and life support was ended Wednesday.

Tyrone Moss, 31, of Bristol Township, was also killed in the early Tuesday morning shooting. Police have not released many details on Moss’ death.

Lamel Duffy, 24, of Levittown, remains seriously injured after being shot in the back.

Duffy, according to police, ran from 913 Winder Drive to 911 Winder Drive after the shooting to get help. Police arrived to find the two other men shot inside the house. Officers from multiple towns closed off the scene and secured it. Moss was found dead inside one of the home’s two larger rooms, police said.

Police have released few details on the shooting since Tuesday but they say the investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday night, police said there were no suspects or persons of interest.

According to a group of Moss’ family, “Everybody is a suspect.”

Acting Bristol Township Police Chief Lt. John Godzieba told reporters on Tuesday morning that no weapon was found in the house. He did add that shell casings were found at 913 Winder Drive.

Investigators executed a search warrant in the house Tuesday evening and continued their search Wednesday.

Police said they were familiar with the address of the shooting and had been called to the address in the past. However, they did not elaborate on the specifics of those police contacts.

Police initially reported to the media that Moss was 24-year-old. Officials and family confirmed to LevittownNow.com that Moss was 31-years-old.
