John Wentz is alleged to have made some bad choices on Tuesday.

First, police say the 47-year old was sitting in the parking spot at at the Oxford Point Shopping Center in the Fairless Hills section of Falls Township screaming and rambling.

Second, according to court papers, he grabbed a Falls Township police officer’s Tazer.
It’s the second thing that got him in trouble.
Police said the incident all started with a call reporting Wentz’s alleged strange behavior. An arriving officer found Wentz and saw him screaming at the sky, court papers say.

The 47-year-old told the officer he was talking to the humidity and air, which were his Gods, according to court papers. He also was yelling that “black people” killed his father and three girlfriends.
The officer wrote in court papers he asked Wentz to calm down, which he complied with.

Other officers arrived and Wentz was found to have warrants out of Chester County, court papers say.
When the officer told him the news, he is alleged to have lunged toward the patrolman and grabbed his Tazer, police said.
The officer wrote in court papers he pushed Wentz’s hand away from his weapon and pushed him onto the hood of my patrol car.

Police said Wentz struggled with them and refused to put his hands behind his back.
Wentz was charged with two felony counts of disarming a law enforcement officer. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
