Students at Pennsbury School District’s Pre-K Counts program graduated last week.
The pre-k program is made up of kids at Walt Disney and Eleanor Roosevelt elementary schools. Last week, the students of the inaugural class were honored during a graduation ceremony in Falls Township.

The program hosted 17 students in the half-day morning programs and 17 students in the half-day afternoon programs at each of the two schools, according to district spokesperson Ann Langtry.
“Pre-K Counts in Pennsbury is funded by the PA Office of Child Development and Early Learning and is open again next year to children of families in Bucks County who meet specific guidelines. A program for 3-year-olds is run jointly as part of the same grant program at the Morrisville YMCA. Applications are available by calling 215-949-6868 ext. 20815. Space is already limited for next year,” according to Pennsbury.
