Bristol Township police used fingerprints found at the scene of a burglary in 2012 to identify their suspect.

According to police, officers were dispatched to Parkside Circle in July 2012 for a burglary. The resident said she returned home to find a burglar entered through a first-floor bathroom window they day before and stole several gaming systems and coins. In total, the value of the stolen items was nearly $6,000.

A police officer used black powder to dust the bathroom window for prints and discovered several, according to court papers. Police said prints were recovered and taken in as evidence.
Police said they discovered the stolen game systems were sold following the burglary at the Game Stop in Bristol. From there, they identified suspect as Frank Seehousen, 26, of Levittown.
A detective spoke with Seehousen in September and he admitted to selling the game systems and committing the burglary, court papers say.

The fingerprints recovered in he house also matched Seehousen’s, according to court papers.
Seehousen was arrested on May 6 and charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and receiving stolen property. During a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, Seehousen waived all charged except receiving stolen property, which was withdrawn, onto Doylestown for trial. The 26-year-old is currently in jail on 10 percent of $40,000 bail.
