Bristol Township police say they are looking for the person(s) responsible for a bottle bomb that was thrown at a vehicle parked in the Red Cedar section over the weekend.

The small homemade device did not cause any damage but did wake up plenty of residents Saturday night.
Lt. Terry Hughes said the devices are made when household items like cleaners are mixed in a soda bottle and thrown. While the devices are not known to cause serious property damage, media reports have indicated that they have caused serious injuries in some parts of the country.
Hughes said the township has not seen any similar incidents in recent weeks and the incident is not connected to the arrest of a suspected bomb maker on Monday. He noted the bottle bombs are not as dangerous as the bombs police believe 30-year-old Thomas Piscione was attempting to make in his home.
The investigation into the bottle bomb is continuing.
