Tullytown police successfully took an upset woman away from the train tracks at the Levittown SEPTA station.

According to police, the woman was distraught and sitting near the tracks around 6:30 a.m. Police were called and safely removed the woman from the platform.

It was not clear as of press time why the woman was distraught near the tracks and whether she was attempting to commit suicide.
The woman voluntarily agreed to be taken to the hospital for evaluation, Police Chief Daniel Doyle told LevittownNow.com.
The incident did not cause major delays to SEPTA or Amtrak service, according to transit officials.
