On Tuesday LevittownNow,com met with State Rep John Galloway (D- Bucks) at the station to discuss what the station improvements mean for the area.

“We’ve been working on this for years. Republican and Democrats locally, at the state and federal levels,” Galloway said, as he looked out over the platform towards an Trenton inbound train.

“This is going to mean a lot for the riders, for the woman who get off of work late at night and have to walk in that tunnel down there,” alluding to the potential for women becoming targets or any one for that matter being trapped in the underground tunnel that connects Philadelphia and Trenton bound platforms.

Galloway said he wasn’t able to really discuss improvement specifics but said millions will be poured into making the station beatific to the regional rail users and Tullytown.

“As kid,”ย Galloway said with a sense of Bucks pride and accomplishment in his voice, “I used to play ball and fish in this area and when this project is completed its something everyone in the area will be proud of.”
