Food Mart Clerk Robbed, Assaulted

A man was assaulted during a robbery Thursday night in Bristol Township.

The armed robbery happened at the Bristol Food Mart in the 1000 block of Bristol Pike in Croydon around 9 p.m., police said. A source said police initially believed there were two suspects involved.

A clerk at the market was hurt and treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Lower Bucks Hospital, according to a first responder source.
