Don’t panic if you see a large police presence at Morrisville High School in the borough early next week.

The Morrisville Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies will be taking part in an active shooter drill at the high school on May 13 from 4 p.m. until midnight, according to a statement.

“Please do not be alarmed by the police presence. We are asking that no citizen(s) be on or around the High School property located at 550 West Palmer Street during that time,” the statement reads.

The training is to help local first responders prepare for a real active shooter incident.
