Rocks Thrown at Moving Cars in Middletown

Drivers in Middletown reported a scary situation last Sunday.

Police reports show several drivers said rocks were thrown at their vehicles as they drove along West Lincoln Highway at night.

Four cars were hit with rocks between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. An Acura, 2002 Infiniti, 2008 Nissan and a 2000 Buick all were struck, police said.

No injuries or cost of damage was mentioned in police reports.

In March 2013, police in Middletown and Lower Southampton reported similar incidents. A Neshaminy school bus was hit and the driver was injured in one case. Police did not release whether they believe the incidents are connected.
