Bristol Borough and township police swarmed the Luk Oil Gas Station Saturday night, witnesses reported to LevittownNow.com a little after 8:30 p.m.
Bristol Borough Sgt. Joe Moors said the response by authorities was for a “theft investigation” at the gas station at the busy intersect of Route 13 and Bath Road.

Moors said reports of an armed robbery were “not true.” However, borough police turned over a subject to the township authorities.
Township authorities said borough police apprehended an individual wanted for questioning in connection to “some missing money.”

Authorities didn’t expect to make an arrest Saturday night, however, that could change depending on the findings of the investigation, Cosgrove said.

Witnesses in and around the gas station reported a flurry of activity involving both departments as police vehicles zeroed in on the area prior to apprehending one male.
Authorities are not releasing the name of the person being interviewed as of publication time.
