NEARBY: Neshaminy Teacher Crashes SUV Through House

A Neshaminy High School teacher was behind the wheel of a SUV that smashed through a house in Lower Southampton Wednesday evening.

NBC 10 reports the Neshaminy teacher and her two daughters were hurt in the crash that caused a house on Fox Hollow Drive to partially collapse.

What caused the crash is not yet known, according to multiple reports.

“She looked like she was in and out of consciousness. She didn’t really know what was going on. She was in shock,” homeowner Jeff Murtha said of the Neshaminy teacher following the crash, according to 6ABC.

Fire crews, police and medics responded to the accident around 7:15 p.m. and remained on the scene for hours. Crews had to free the teacher from the vehicle.

There were at least two people inside the home at the time and they were unhurt, according to 6abc.com.

The crash remains under investigation.
