Winter Weather Advisory Issued

Here we go….again!!

The National Weather Service around 3 p.m. issued a winter weather advisory for the area.

Forecasters are calling for snow accumulations of 2-4 inches with winds  of 10-15 m.p.h. and gusts peaking at 20 m.p.h.

The advisory goes into effect beginning at 8 p.m Sunday evening till noon Monday.

The possibility of rain exists with the weather service noting snow is expected to fall overnight.

Roads and travel could become hazardous as temperatures fall in to the 20’s causing roadways to become slippery with combined limited visibility, officials from NWS said.
