Army Reserve Sgt. Joe Andreacchio received a surprise visit from the Phillies, former pitcher Tommy Greene and the USO Friday morning in Langhorne.
The 29-year-old Upper Darby man just returned from a nine-month tour in Afghanistan. The surprise welcome home celebration happened at his girlfriend’s parent’s home, a story on Philly.com said.

The excitement continued when Andreacchio, who told 6abc the Phillies and his girlfriend helped him get through his overseas tour, was able to video chat with pitcher Cole Hamels and Ryan Howard.
The Phillies donated season tickets to the couple.
